About me
Zhana Veselinova Nedelcheva was born in Bulgaria, Europe. In 1999 she graduated from Sveti Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia, Bulgaria with Master in Pedagogy of Fine Arts and emphasis on sculpture and ceramics. Since 1999 the artist has been actively engaged in Traditional and Youth exhibitions of collage, painting, paper, and ceramic sculpture. Ceramics has remained her ardent passion. A number of group exhibitions depicted the monumentality and color vivacity of her sculptural ceramics and tiles. In 2004 she was awarded the Young Artist of the Year prize for her solo ceramics exhibition at Ikar gallery, Bulgaria. The same year she attended two residences with painting in Bulgaria and Macedonia.
Zhana Veselinova lived and worked in Canada, where she participated in many local shows, including Eastside Culture Crawl, Purple Door Gallery in Bowen Island, Hycroft Art Gallery at University Women’s Club, Place des Arts and Britania Community Centre. Recently the artist settled in Germany, where she works and experiments in her ceramics studio.
