I usually start a watercolor in wet on wet technique. Then it turns into a sort of a chess game – some moves I am able to foresee, some not. For the last stage, I use a delicate brush in order to get the detail in the already dried painting, so that the figures “begin to see”. This medium – watercolor, so ethereal and surprising, has been among my favorite ones.
